Lead On 2011 is “Real Business Leadership”
This year’s conference takes on a new format, morning only, so you can learn and be inspired in the morning and then get back to the office for the afternoon to start applying what you’ve learnt. That means there’s a succinct and focussed programme of speakers but there’s still time set aside for networking too.
We have four great speakers for you talking about different aspects and skills of leadership.
1. Dr Neil Wooding, Director of Public Services Management Wales (PSMW) on “Transformational Conversations”. He will be talking about those conversations in the workplace that really make a difference and engage and transform your employees.
2. Philippa Davies, organisational psychologist, (as Mrs Motivator she had her own regular column in the Western Mail), then follows with “Communicating as a Leader”.
3. Tony Dowling, Managing Director, Real Radio Wales (the first pan Wales commercial radio station), follows with “Achieving Ethical Sales”.
4. Dr Jonathan Deacon, Reader in Entrepreneurship, Newport Business School who will give entertaining insights into 'The 5 big market trends in 2012'.
Two Q&A sessions chaired by Dr Barrie Kennard, LMW, and a round-up of key learning and actions from the morning complete the programme.
Lead On 2011 means Real Business Leadership, helping you help your staff grow your business!
