Workshop 2: The Chartered Institute of Marketing present:
“Marketing Strategy: A fast track plan to delivering your business objectives”

presented by Neil Wilkins of Viper Marketing Limited

Delegates will be able to:
• Create a succinct personal plan to create and rollout a focused marketing strategy for their organisation
• Re-use the technique of our facilitated brainstorm session to help manage the internal planning and communications processes in their organisation

Using our interactive Communications Planning Framework, Neil will be taking delegates through Viper’s unique facilitated post-it brainstorm sessions to identify needs, objectives, prioritisation, target customer profiles and step by step toolbox of activities to deliver the goals. There will be explanation of the theory and then delegates will use the process to focus on their own practical plans for marketing.



Neil Wilkins:
With 18 years experience in all forms of marketing and communications Neil is the recommended lead for this workshop. He has worked on a wide variety of strategic marketing projects with the likes of Orange, Marconi and Ordnance Survey as well as creating and delivering digital and traditional marketing strategy and campaigns for a wide variety of clients in sectors as diverse as music, fashion, construction and education.

He trains at both beginner and post-graduate level in strategy and communications for the Chartered Institute of Marketing and is a CIM member. Neil has a broad experience of developing and implementing communications strategy across all media channels including traditional printed, web, digital marketing, TV, radio and video.



Neil will be supported in the workshop by his colleague Jim Hardcastle who has a background in public sector communications and has developed the Communications Planning Framework that Viper teaches and uses with its own clients. Jim is an expert in group facilitation and will ensure the workshops deliver their objectives within the timeframe set.
